Simple Hemp Seed Salad

Salads don’t have to be boring!

This salad was made from locally grown kale & cherry tomatoes with added goods from an organic local market & wow did it hit the spot!

I love going to the farmers market on the weekend to get outside, hang with the community & support local farmers!

Food from a farmers market can also be:

  • more sustainable

  • more nutritious

  • more flavorful

Ingredients

1 bunch organic curly kale
1 Handful of baby cherry tomatoes
1 avocado, cubed
1 tbs hemp seeds
2tbs sprouted pumpkin seeds

For the dressing:

  • 1 tbs olive oil

  • Juice from 1/2 an orange

  • 2tsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1tsp raw honey

  • 1 tsp dijon mustard

Cut and clean kale. Mix up dressing and massage kale pieces until soft. Then add on toppings, mix, and enjoy!
