Easy Tahini Energy Bites

Energy bites are probably one of my favorite things to make because they are no-bake, they hold together well, and store well to be frozen for later or enjoyed all week long!

These energy bites are the perfect pre-workout or midday snack and can satisfy any sweet tooth, guilt-free - not that we should ever feel guilty - food is meant to be enjoyed.

These balls are SO easy to make! Gathering the ingredients takes longer than putting these perfect little bites together! They are full of fiber and protein making them amazing for not only your gut, but also your blood sugar and they will satisfy any craving!

For this recipe, I used organic sprouted oats, tahini, chia and flax seed, and maple syrup for a dash of sweetness. They are vegan, gluten-free and nut free making them suitable for most dietary needs!

Ingredients:

1 1/3c organic oats
1/2c tahini - can sub any nut butter

1.5tbs chia seeds
4T maple syrup
1tbs coconut flour *add some more if tahini is very drippy
1/4c chocolate chips
1tbs flaxseed
Cinnamon
Sea salt
Vanilla extract

Mix everything in a bowl, scoop into little balls, let sit on the counter or in the fridge for a few minutes to set & ENJOY
