Sweet and Spicy Summer Salmon

Did you know you can avoid taking extra fish oil if you eat salmon just twice weekly?! It contains all the omegas you need to manage inflammation and support brain health. You can read more about the benefits of salmon here.

As someone who never had enough time to buy fresh salmon daily, I’ve relied heavily on frozen wild salmon (shout out to Whole Foods for always having the wild option) to get my omega fix!

This salmon has the best combo of a little spice + a little sweet and can be made easily in 15 minutes.

Ingredients
2 pieces of wild salmon
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Squeeze of lemon
Salt & pepper to taste
Avocado oil to drizzle
Air fry at 400 for about 10 minutes or until cooked to desired texture

For the mango salsa
1 mango cut into cubes
1/2 small red cabbage, chopped
2 mini cucumbers, cut
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1 garlic clove, minced
Olive oil to drizzle
salt to taste
Add everything to a bowl, mix with salt and oil & enjoy!

I added air-fried potatoes and kale as the perfect side
